New Beginnings at Eldoret Bible College – Junior School ( Talentville Schools)
After 25 years of training church leaders across the country and East Africa, we are delighted to announce a new chapter at Eldoret Bible College – the launch of our Junior School. Since opening our doors on January 9, 2024, the little ones have brought fresh life, joy, and energy to our premises.
We sincerely thank all the parents who have entrusted us with their children. While our roots are in training church leaders, venturing into basic education has been a humbling yet rewarding experience. We recognize that a strong foundation in education is crucial for shaping future careers and lives.
Our mission is to create a home where talents spring forth, making a lasting impact in our society. We envision the school as an internationally recognized hub equipping learners with modern skills for transformative change. Through the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and strategic co-curricular activities, we aim to harness God-given talents within each child while offering an international touch.
Mission
To discover and develop the God-given talents of our learners, positioning them for a successful destiny.
Vision
To equip learners with transformative knowledge through the Competency-Based Curriculum and co-curricular activities enriched with an international perspective.
Core Values
1. Grow in wisdom and size.
2. Grow in favor with God and others.
3. Love others as we love ourselves.
4. Build a culture of trustworthiness and honesty.
5. Develop talents, excellence, and creativity among learners.
Since January 9th 2024, our learners have brought immense joy to our daily interactions. Many see me as a father figure, except one cheeky child who calls me “Grandpa”! Their daily visits to my office to greet me in English highlight the excellent work our teachers are doing. We are developing an English-speaking culture on campus and encourage parents to reinforce this at home. Additionally, Kiswahili is taught in class, and plans are underway to introduce foreign languages to broaden our learners’ global perspectives.
Co-Curricular Activities
To ensure holistic development, we offer activities such as:
Skating: Builds strength, balance, coordination, and provides great exercise.
Swimming: Enhances water safety, cardiovascular health, lung capacity, memory, and concentration.
Piano Lessons: Boosts concentration, focus, discipline, and mental health while offering music-related opportunities.
These activities are also available during holidays to keep learners fit both physically and mentally. Parents, we encourage you to help your children explore and discover their interests. Our teachers are committed to identifying and nurturing these interests through daily observations and reporting.
Personally, I’ve been inspired to step out of my comfort zone. For instance, I recently learned to swim to bond better with my children during a coastal holiday. This Easter, I’m conquering my fear of zip-lining with my Grade 7 daughter. Parents, let’s lead by example and encourage our children to try new experiences.
Looking Ahead
Our commitment is to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can enjoy school life while preparing for their career paths. The challenges faced during our first trimester have been taken as opportunities to learn and improve, and we are determined to deliver even better results in the coming terms.
We wish you all a joyful Easter holiday filled with God’s favor and blessings.
Warm regards,
Ben Ambani
